Choosing the right BTU for your room
A simple rule for Thailand's climate — and when to get a survey.

Too small and it runs flat out; too big and it cycles on and off, leaving the room clammy and wasting power.
The starting rule
About 700 BTU per m² for normal rooms; about 800 per m² for afternoon-sun rooms and kitchens.
When to get a survey
Ceilings over 3 m, lots of glass, many people or machines, or restaurants.
